Heart-To-Heart
I saw this idea in a "Real Simple" magazine for $70 a piece. I knew I wasn't going to pay that much for it, but really liked the idea so I decided to try it myself! I am very happy with how it turned out & have even given this to friends as wedding gifts. So fun!
Inspiration How-To
You will need:
Shadow box frame
Cardstock (2 colors)
Pencil & ruler
1" heart punch
Craft glue
Scrapbooking letters
1. Use a ruler & pencil to lightly mark a 1" border around the background color (only in the corners of the border).
2. Punch out enough heart shapes to create a square
(I used 42 hearts).
3. Fold all the hearts in half the long way.
4. Arranging the hearts in a random order with some slightly open & some folded, spread glue on one half of the hearts and attach them in straight rows & columns (as shown above). Make sure to leave a space in the upper right corner & lower left corner.
5. Place initials in the openings using the scrapbooking letters (I used foam letters).
6. Set the final cardstock with hearts into the back position of the frame. Close the frame & hang the project
on the wall.
L.O.V.E
I saw an idea similar to this at a craft show where they used frames similar to these & spelled out "FAMILY". I decided to use "LOVE" & give it as a gift to a newly married couple. These frames can be used to decorate for holidays, a baby's room, or any room in the house & they of course make great gifts!
Inspiration How-To
You will need:
Picture frames (enough for the desired word)
Vinyl letters
Vinyl designs
Scrapbooking paper
